I got to visit Khao Kheow Open Zoo recently. It was awesome!
While I was there I found out about a new business opening next to the zoo, called Flight of the Gibbon Bangkok. It's a zipline ecotour through the rainforest canopy and it looks SO cool! It isn't opening until the end of May, but it will be worth the wait. If you buy a ticket for the zipline tour on the Flight of the Gibbon website you get a free ticket to Khao Kheow Open Zoo too!
I'm going to have to head back to Bangkok this summer to check it out.

Hi Ann and Neo,

This is Charmaine, sub-editor and writer at INK Publishing in Singapore. I came across your blog while looking for information about Bangkok.

We have this regular section in Smile (Cebu Pacific Philippines' inflight magazine) that features people from the different Asian countries the airline flies to. We ask them their recommendations on where to stay, eat and go to while in that destination.

I was hoping you guys can recommend someone who's willing to be featured? I can send a sample of the page/layout, and I will also send the person featured the layout once it's done, so he/she has a copy.

In the meantime, please feel free to email me at the above email address. I'm chasing a deadline, so I hope you can get back to me as soon as you can.

Thanks a lot! (You can also check out the INK and Smile websites if you'd like to take a look.)

Regards,
Charmaine

For anyone who's looking to get into travel writing, it is important to have had some experience in traveling. It is essential. This is where a writer obtains the materials that will become the stories that will end up on paper.
